This webinar, provided in partnership by the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) and Clinical Care Options, will explore emerging approaches to optimize antiretroviral therapy for previously untreated patients with HIV. Case vignettes will be used to explore the application of guideline-based recommendations and clinical data into everyday patient management. We encourage you to invite fellow ANAC members, as well as friends and colleagues who are not ANAC members, to join us.

  • Apply guideline-based recommendations when assessing first-line ARV regimens for most patients with HIV.
  • Evaluate individualized initial ART regimens for women who are trying to conceive, based on available data, evidence-based guidelines and shared decision-making.
  • Provide insightful counsel to patients regarding emerging data on weight gain following ART initiation.
